About Me

Hi! I'm Kitty Beach. A gender diverse, solo indie pop/rock singer, orignally  from country Victoria and now resides in Naarm/Melbourne.

I have loved music and singing my entire life.

Growing up, I had a diverse mix of music influences from both my parents. HipHop and indie rock from Mum (all Australian), and from Dad, pop, punk and new wave (international acts). These included groups The Herd, The Ting Tings, Hilltop Hoods, Operator Please, Seth Sentury, Chilldren Colide, Devo, Beastie Boys, Air and singers Katy Perry, Kesha, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen.

During High school, I did singing and guitar lessons for 2 years. I was the lead singer of a rock band, and partipated theatre/musicals both in and outside of school at age 14. 

I released my first orignal song 'Live in the now' on all streaming platfroms in April 2023 at age 18.  2023 was a year where I worked heaps on my music. Writing songs, recording and perfoming them (covers as well as my own) both indivudally and with others/in bands. I performed my own songs for the  first  time at the Real Songwriters of Melbourne open mic in August 2023.

As of June 2024, I have been performing at open mics all over Melbourne as often as possible.
